Whatever your business, today your website must be your number-one magnet for customers: a pleasure for them to visit, and easy as pie to navigate and find the perfect product.

If you’re a shop on Main Street selling chocolate or clothing from your store front, you may need only a one or two-page site, basically an irresistible invitation to come in and shop, with gorgeous imagery and lively copy. Of course you may benefit from a more extensive site, too. No problem either way.

If you’re a shop on Main Street or in the Mall selling, say, books or electronics, and you have an on-line shopping service as well, your needs will be more complex. Visually, your site should be equally tempting, but you’ll need all the necessary gear for displaying your wares on-line, and making it possible for people to order them in a jiffy.

If you’re an on-line-only business, showing off the virtues of your wares on your site is all the more important. And great navigation and e-form function are absolutely essential.

And whatever you’re selling and however you do business, chances are you will want to reach your customers in on-going ways, with e-mailouts of specials or new products, with a blog that engages them, and with social media.
